There’s something sweet about all of those Sugar Plum Party Ideas we’ve been seeing around this year for first birthdays and little girl birthday parties! Today we’re excited to be featuring a fairly new sprinkle mix here on the blog Sugar Plum. Although we have lots of bold colorful sprinkle mixes for just about every theme you can think of in the shop, we’ve been having a blast adding pastel sprinkle mixes. Although this particular sprinkle mix was originally themed around a Nutcracker party, it sells equally well all year long. There is just something magical about a pastel color combination, take a look yourself!
Sugar Plum Sprinkle Mix
When creating this mix we wanted to create a classic beautiful mix made of pastels featuring purple and pops of gold. Although we originally dreamed Sugar Plum up during the holidays while visions of well, you know, were dancing through our heads we quickly realized that this mix could be used for many different occasions including baby showers, weddings, first birthdays, and even unicorn parties!

So while the mix is made of pastels and would go great with pastel decor, we wanted to see how it would pair with bolder pops of purple living up to its Sugar Plum name. Turns out we are in love with the purple end results, what do you all think? Purple is so underused in the baking + party world! While this mix didn’t contain any dark colors, we added a deep purple to make it easier to incorporate classic colors into. Don’t be afraid to change it up a little to depending on the additional colors you’d like to use. A navy blue or hot pink would be a great addition to this color palette! Whether it’s for a Christmas event for the Nutcracker or a pretty unicorn themed first birthday, this elegant theme has all the right shades!
