You guys, these Pink Lemonade Party Ideas have has been in the works since we found out a Sweets & Treats baby girl was on the way!
This Lemonade First Birthday Party comes complete with a DIY lemonade stand, yarn accents, and push pop cake stand and of course, lots of our Pink Lemonade Party Supplies.
There’s just something about hot pinks being complimented by the bright yellow colors and white that made this the perfect first birthday theme.
Lemons are the perfect fillers for this party too because there’s nothing sweeter than homemade lemonade! Get ready for the cuteness!

Pink Lemonade Party Ideas
This little decor detail is probably the most fun part of this event. It’s just a tiny watering can that we used to hold the plastic silverware for the guests next to the paper plates.
We placed it right in front of a picture of the birthday girl’s first birthday photo shoot. This decor idea was such a spur of the moment thing but one that we return to again and again. Who doesn’t love to go roam the aisles of Hobby Lobby where they organize decorations by color.
Knowing we really only wanted pink and yellow, we chose a few items from each color scheme and played around with the other complimentary color to use along with it. So, being that summer was coming up, water cans were in stock so we chose a fun bright one to hold our plasticware.
We had no idea how many questions we would get about it though! It ended up being such a functional decoration piece to the party.

Pink Lemonade Party Cupcakes
We can’t throw a party around here without our favorite dessert, sprinkle cupcakes! We did our ruffle cupcake frosting method and dipped in our Sweet Tart sprinkles for a perfect match!
Whether you color the cake pink or leave the pops of color to the frosting and sprinkles, you can’t go wrong with including them into your event. Check out our Pink Lemonade Cupcakes Recipe for a fun addition to this party theme!

Pink Lemonade Party Details
Instead of doing a standard cake, we decided to go with cake push pops which were a success with both the kids and adults. No mess, no clean up.
The push pop containers came from JB Prince. They can be found on Etsy or some other shops but they are so expensive! The 8 oz kiddie drink cups (plastic so no broken glass) are listed in this blog post since we don’t sell them in our party supply shop anymore.

Pink Lemonade Party Decorations
Glitter initials were the perfect addition to this table top! We also filled a glass hurricane with lemons as part of the party decor.
For the other side of the party table, we dyed some lima beans with food coloring in a gallon sized bag and layered them in a glass hurricane as a base for the rock candy on top.
You could make your own if you are really in the DIY mood but we got ours from a local candy store. We are all about easy additions to the party!

DIY Pink Lemonade Stand
Our favorite part of this theme was this DIY lemonade stand. You guys, we had so much fun making this. With just a few supplies, we were well on our way!
With a quick trip to Michael’s we grabbed a small wooden crate, two wooden pieces from the craft area, and one small wooden sheet for the sign (we cut it freely to make it look broken on the edges), and lots of pink paint.

After all the painted pieces were dry, we screwed to two thin craft pieces of wood to the back edges of the wooden crate and top part of the sign. This was the perfect height for the 1 year old birthday girl!
Can’t have a Pink Lemonade Birthday without a mini lemonade stand now can you?
Pink Lemonade Party Favors
Gumballs and sixlets are the perfect fillers for these bottles for party favors. We used plastic buckets adorned with thank you stickers. We mixed up a batch of Lemonade Drink Mix into a container as well for some fun DIY home party favors.

Throwing in some bubble wands in matching colors and some fun, chevron color matching labels, it’s all ready!

Pink Lemonade Party Supplies
This has been a favorite color combo for so many years. Check out all the summertime supplies for your upcoming event!
We spread out the color palette among light and dark shades for this theme but you can stick to just bright colors too.

For this birthday setup, we wanted bright pinks and bright yellow – no pastels here! There’s just something so classic about this party theme and colors.
Now you see why we had so much fun with these pink lemonade party supplies and ideas and writing this party post! You know we had to add our sprinkle mixes in both classic and mixed colors.
As a signature touch of ours, we mix and match patterns as well. From solids and rugby stripes, to pinstripe and vertical stripes, this theme is such an incredibly fun mix of visual appeal.
We can’t wait to see what you guys do with all of these ideas!

Where did you find your lemonade stand? and are those infant bottles for the kiddie cups?? LOVE YOUR BLOG!
My husband and I made our lemonade stand out of a wooden crate from Michael’s and some sticks and paint! Here is the info about where to buy the bottles: https://blog.shopsweetsandtreats.com/buy-bulk-plastic-party-bottles/
I too LOVE your Blog!! Where did you find your kiddie cups & also where did you get the tags & stands that say kiddie cups & adult cups? Etsy?
Krystal
Here is the post about where I bought the plastic mason jars and square plastic bottles: https://blog.shopsweetsandtreats.com/buy-bulk-plastic-party-bottles/. Also, I designed the tags and entered them in the pink lemonade printable set we sell online.
Did you just drill your own holes in the kid cup lids?
Yes! You just need 1/4″ holes and the paper straws slide in perfect. They were drilled in from the top.
Where did you purchase your pink and yellow buckets? Also, was the price reasonable?
We got them from Hobby Lobby and YES! Especially with the coupons they often post and the sales they always have on their decorations. They have a wonderful selection of solid colored items.
Where did you get the watering can with the utensils in them?
Hobby Lobby! It’s our go to for affordable party extras. We just put some plastic utensils in them that matched our theme.
Hi! Where did you get the pink and yellow bubble wands?
Hello!
We found them at our local dollar store! They are always available in a rainbow of colors year round.
