Naturally, we got our inspiration for this theme from one of our back to school sprinkle mixes, Chemistry 101! This sprinkle mix has a combination of royal blue, baby blue, lime green, yellow, silver, and more! You can’t tell us you don’t look at these sprinkles and think they look ready to learn chemistry. The science party really got started with our fun cupcakes, baked in our blue BakeBright cupcake liners and topped with a swirl of yellow frosting. But if you really want a reaction, sprinkle with some Chemistry 101 sprinkles and top in tall lime green candles!

How fun would a birthday cake be with fake dry ice as the centerpiece on the dessert table too? There are so many fun mad science party ideas that you can incorporate into different sweets for your science party!

Our chevron lime green goodie bags and yellow reusable ice cream spoons worked perfectly together for all of our scientific snacks and sweets. We really love that pop of yellow the spoon brings! In addition, to easily set the science party mood we chose safety glasses, plastic beakers, and coordinating magnetic letters to help bring in the theme. Each of these items is very affordable and scream science! Seriously, just look at those little beakers we used to pour the sprinkles on our cupcakes! You know we couldn’t style this theme without using a flask cookie cutter. How perfect would some science flask decorated cookies be using our Chemistry 101 sprinkles too?! Mix and match sweets for a truly unique science birthday party theme!

Typically we use our treat cups for a lot of treats, but this time they made the perfect little cup to let the kiddos make a little science experiment of their own, slime! I know what your thinking moms, but you can’t have a science party without a little slime! The reusable spoons were also handy for slime mixing so we recommend having plenty of them around! They are nice and sturdy for mixing.

As always we created a fun mix of party paper straws for the science party. We love how this combo came together with all of the colors in the Chemistry 101 sprinkle mix! Our favorite though is the silver foil straws.
