First up, Circus Cookie! This party was inspired by one of our favorite sprinkle mixes, Circus Cookie, and our love of those little frosted animal friends sprinkled in classic Rainbow Nonpareils. We loved them growing up and our kids still love them today. They are just so darn yummy and cute – two our favorite things.

We wanted to set the mood for this party with lots of pink and play off those little teeny tiny Rainbow Nonpareils. Starting with a solid pink table covering we kept it simple with white plates and solid napkins and utensils. Items you may have already at home! Then we used a circle punch to cut out sprinkle confetti from paper, a great project for the kiddos to help with.

Every Party needs a favor! To help bring in the fun sprinkle concept we filled our Pink Striped Goodie Bags with rainbow gumballs. The gumballs happen to be the exact color of the sprinkles, which brought lots of color to the table. Such an easy but perfect favor.

What goes better with cookies than milk? Nothing of course! So we just had to serve milk but not just plain old milk. Before filling our glasses up we dipped the rims with sprinkles. You can find the how-to here. Then we finished up with the perfect straw combo, our Solid Pink, Pink Rugby Stripe,  and Light Pink Pinstripe paper party straws.

Now on to the good stuff, the sweets!

To really make this party shout Circus Cookie we placed a giant circus cookie on each plate. Aren’t these so darn cute? We’re excited to share that these were made by our team member Toni of Make Bake Celebrate and she is sharing how you can make them on her blog! She even uses our Circus Cookie Sprinkle Mix for the hats! Believe it or not they are pretty simple to make! Wouldn’t it be fun to save the sprinkles for last and let the kids decorate the animal cookies at the party? Or even a paper version would be so much fun. There so many options and tweaks to make this party your own!

Speaking of sprinkles! You can’t have a party without cupcakes, and you can’t have cupcakes without sprinkles. For these cupcakes we baked up a vanilla cake using a mix of our Solid Pink & Pink Rugby Stripe BakeBright cupcake liners. The frosting was a simple white buttercream tipped in our Circus Cookie Sprinkle Mix and a gumball. We used a few of our extra liners to place on the table as décor for the perfect pop of stripes. And no Circus Animal Cookie party is complete without the actual cookies that inspired it all.

Of course we had to serve Circus Cookies. Placing a few bowls of circus animal cookies around the table really helped to finish things off.

See how ways you can pull a few things together to create the cutest of simple celebrations? We hope you love these ideas and are inspired to create your own Sweetscape InstaParty.
