For the cupcakes:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and fill pan with cupcake liners

- 1 box (15.25 oz) vanilla cake mix
- 1 cup champagne or sparkling wine
- 3 large eggs, room temperature
- ½ cup vegetable or canola oil
- Champagne Frosting
- 1 cup (2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
- ¼ cup champagne or sparkling wine

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and add cupcake liners to pan
- In a large mixing bowl beat together cake mix, champagne, eggs and oil until well combined.
- Divide batter using a cookie dough scoop
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

- After cupcakes are cooled, fit a piping bag with a large star tip and fill with frosting
- Pipe frosting onto the cupcake
