Let’s ensure your 4th of July party goes off with a bang! This round-up post lists all the best 4th of July Desserts for your picnics, parties or even pack to take to the fireworks!

If you’ve followed us for a while, you know by now that we love 4th of July treats. Like, a lot. Summer’s just a fun time to get baking, and we’re especially grateful that there’s a holiday in the middle of it that we can use to theme our desserts and sweets!
We tend to have a lot of picnics around July 4th, as well as on the day itself. (The weather’s nice, so why not get together and sit outside with buddies?) And we love preparing yummy snacks for our loved ones. So, today, we’ve put together some of our favorite Patriotic Desserts for you to choose from.

Patriotic Cupcakes
It just isn’t a celebration without cupcakes, am I right? For these Patriotic Cupcakes, we started with a basic vanilla cupcake recipe and then decorated them for a festive touch.
And if you are looking for a little more adventure, these 4th of July cupcakes that we shared a couple years back are baked with equal parts of red, white, and blue batter! It’s easy and results in some fabulous-looking little sweets.

Patriotic Oreo Balls
Similar to our Birthday Cake Oreo Cookie Balls, these 4th of July Oreo Balls start with just two ingredients! Grab our Patriotic Stars and Firecracker sprinkle mixes and then head on over and grab the recipe. You won’t be sorry!

Patriotic Cakesicles
Okay, seriously, how cute are these cakesicles? We used our Confetti Cakesicle Mold, Red Acrylic Popsicle Sticks, and filled them with Patriotic Crispies. So fun!

Patriotic Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes
Next up are these fun to make Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes. You can bake right in the ice cream cones with cake batter and bake them right in the cupcake pan. We like to turn them upside down. Fill the cupcake pan with your favorite cake batter, and turn the ice cream cone upside down on top. Baking time will depend on the size of your cupcake, typically you will bake for 12-15 minutes for a standard size.
Add melted chocolate around the edge of the cone and immediately add sprinkles. Then swirl on your favorite frosting, our Buttercream Frosting would be perfect. For the stars, cut them from fondant and add our Patriotic Glitter.

Patriotic Cookie Sandwiches
Is doesn’t get much easier than store bought cookies dressed up for the 4th of July holiday! Or if you like, make your favorite sugar cookie recipe.
Add frosting in the center and Patriotic Sprinkle Mix around the edge. Then drizzle with melted red, white and blue candy melts for even more fun!

Patriotic Dessert Board
I bet your friends and family would go crazy over this Patriotic Dessert Board! We have a few suggestions for you to add to your own board, or make your own. Don’t forget the sprinkles though!

Patriotic Snack Mix
Did you spot this Patriotic Snack Mix on the Dessert Board? So fun to make…so fun to eat!
The best thing about making your own Snack Mix, is that you add whatever ingredients you like. This time we used:

- Twizzlers
- Festive M&M’s
- White almond bark
- Red and blue candy melts
- Sprinkles: we used our Patriotic Stars and Patriotic Jimmies

Red, White and Blue Cakesicle
